I run about 7 miles each day, does the fat burn during the exercise or after? If after how long does it take?
Fat burns after 20 minutes of moderate cardio.
This is because during those first 20 mins, you are using up your glucose stores, so are burning off sugar (or carbs). Only when these stores run out do you start burning up your fat reserves. Since you run 7 miles you’ll be burning quite a lot of fat, depending on how long this takes you.
